Former Transdev Harrogate 615 seen in Dewsbury on it's first day out with the firm SGIct who have recently merged with Station Coaches.
Blast from the past... 15th August 2013 saw SGI Buses newly acquired Plaxton Primo KX07HDV at side there current base at the time which was at Bretton Street Dewsbury. I don't know whether this entered service with them or not..
SGI of Dewsbury continue to confuse but never the less introduced a new route to Thornhill in July and stating they intend to withdrawn the original 288 for a short period in August. Here the only one of two DAFs to see use so far trundles down Bradford Road, Batley passing a famous entertainment venue without a care in the world...mind you I'm not sure i would with only 16 seats fitted ! Viewers just a polite request...my site is about bus photograph and anything bus related is welcome to be commented on but its not about slagging companies or individuals off on the comments section - thank you.

New company SGI Buses start in West Yorkshire to compete with Arriva on April 24th on route 288 between Dewsbury, Batley & Junction 27 retail park, Arriva have also registered a competing service 280 that starts a week later, that goes the same way and starts outside Dewsbury bus station 5 mins before SGI, I can see things getting sticky between the 2 operators, it's been a while since Arriva had competition in that area, its what it needs. Here is SGI's first purchase ex Rotala Dennis Dart Wright Crusader R407 FFC, seen at their unit in Dewsbury 16/4/13

"We normally have the idea that if we are in hell this is a bad thing, and we'll have to spend a long time with a shovel, digging our way out. But this is not so. Somebody asked Nanao Sakaki, the fine poet who saw Hiroshima, "How do we survive nuclear catastrophe?" He said, "No need to survive. No need to survive hell either." Wherever you are, that can be the pure land. I have always loved Buddhist paintings in the esoteric tradition that show the sufferings of the hell realms, they are rather like medieval Christian paintings, with flames and pitchforks and horns and so on. But there is always a little Buddha sitting in the hell realm, looking exactly like all the other demons, with horns and a big smile . . . So if you are in hell, perhaps you can be one of those demons, a Buddha demon."

If you want to take away the I-my-me mountain,
you must get a cane made of rabbit horn.
If you want to cross the ocean of suffering,
you must take the ship with no bottom.
1. Where do you get a cane made of rabbit horn?
2. Where is the ship with no bottom?
