The Erembe headdress indicates that both of them are married.
As is customary in Himba culture and climate, the Ovahimbas of northern Namibia wear a traditional skirt made from calfskin leather, headdress and jewelry which signify their social status.

Arriving in Iquitos from the upper Amazon river via boat was quite a breathtaking experience. People really live in these floating houses. From here other ships travel onwards to the Brazilian border town
of Tabatinga.

The Bridge is made of steel and concrete and crosses Lake Paranoá. It links the southern part of the lake and Sebastian Paranoá through the Monumental Axis. Finalized Dec 2002. Total length is 1,200 metres, width 24 metres. Six car lanes and two walkways. 3 spans of 240 metres each.
