Haven trying on the bodice of the first dress I made her. The skirt was a work in progress at this point, as I sewed the lace to the hem.
I used this pattern, and it worked out quite well!

Since I've been stuck inside a lot lately, overstressed from virus paranoia, and now, literally prevented from going to my day job, I've been messing around using graphics editing software to make better graphics for my Etsy shop.
I've been using a combination of GIMP and Autodesk Sketchbook to make interesting and attractive thumbnail photos for things for sale in my shop.
It's quite relaxing and I'm quickly becoming more adept at using the software.

Hooded jumpsuit or pantdress has front zipper and short set-in sleeves. V1 or 3 with pocket has ribbon drawstring thry waistline casings. Optional top-stitching and trim.
I was going to make some felt owl decorations to hang up for Christmas but we don't want a christmas tree, maybe I will get some twigs from the garden to hang them off. I bought 10 colours of felt, roughly the colours I used in photoshop to do these ideas of colour schemes, it was fun doing that but I'm not sure about the sewing bit! I haven't done any sewing for years and I'm beginning to think I should have just made photoshopped owls! I could use any colours I wanted then, and I wouldn't have to do any sewing! I bought this fun magazine on a whim. I thought you might enjoy a few pages.
I'm very interested because there are so few advertisements, so it must have had a large subscriber base, however I can't find much about this title online.
It includes fluffy teen stuff but also some serious articles that would be helpful to some girls I'm sure.
