Use scissors, a guillotine cutter, or a rotary cutter and ruler to cut the tape out. Make sure you leave some wax paper on the end of the strips so that it is easier to peel the tape off later.

Misses Gowns: The gowns with front midriff and back elastic have skirt fathered to bodice above normal waistline. V1 with low round neckline has raglan sleeves, elastic casings at neck and sleeve edges and self fabric tiw ends. V2 with self binding at "V" shaped neckline and cape type sleeves is trimmed with lace edging and purchased appliques. V3 with self binding at neck and armholes has surplice bodice and metallic novelty braid.

Wow, researching this brought back a grisly story, the owners of this place were stabbed to death by their son.
The store closed in 1979 (before their murder) The shopping center remains.

I made the size small and extra-large Origami Bags from the Style Stitches book. I used Amy Butler Gothic Rose in burgundy and Amy Butler Garden Maze in red for the exterior, and the inside is a gray Riley Blake. I'm using these two to store my quilting rulers and zippers!

V1 has embroidered beading beading with lace edging and ribbon trim. V 1 & 2 have short sleeves with elastic casing forming self ruffles. V3 with long sleeves gathered with elastic casing forming self ruffle has contrasting yoke and ribbon bow. The pants V2 & 3 with elastic waistline casing have leg casing forming self ruffles. The ribbon bow and lace edging trimmed cap V1 & 2 has elastic casing forming self ruffle.
