This is an out-of-print pattern by Simplicity (8549) for Magic Attic Doll Clothes. This pattern is unused and in factory fold. It has been stored in my smoke-free home. The pattern envelope has a fabric store stamp and price printed on the front and shows minor storage wear. It contains patterns for four outfits: A shirt and skirt outfit with shoulder bag, a halter style dress, a shirt and shorts sports outfit, and a swimsuit and robe. This pattern is for the 18" Magic Attic dolls and does not fit the American Girl dolls.

Illustration from the spring 1950 catalogue from mail order pattern company Marian Martin. Useful for dating your vintage Marian Martin patterns.
These cool letters are created by pressing newsprint paper pulp into plastic letter shaped molds. The letters are left to dry and then decoupaged with vintage sewing patterns using Mod Podge. The letters measure between 2.5" and 3" high. The letters are connected by large staples and the hanger is heavyweight natural covered floral wire.

Junior Misses and Misses one piece dress and reversible bolero: The pretty sleeveless dress is fashioned with low round neckline. The full skirt is softly pleated around the waistline. The dress, View 2, features narrow fabric bows at the shoulder edge. A gathered ruffle of contrasting fabric is sewn to the inside of the skirt at the lower edge. The pert sleeveless bolero is reversible with small pockets on the front.
I bought this pattern at a flea market today for a quarter.. I love being able to sew, coz I can usually pick up patterns for a dime or less... some people give them away for free. I just love this pattern! The little bows on the shoulder of the dress and the little sweater/shrug that goes with it! I'll definitely be making this one I think... I live in sundresses.
Simplicity 1995; ©1944; Misses' and Women's Pajamas: The trousers have top-stitched pleats at the front and back and are joined at the upper edge to a waist band which buttons at the left side. The pajama top is gathered to a yoke in back. Style I is short sleeved with one patch pocket. Style II, with long sleeves, has two patch pockets. The belt is optional.
Originally, I didn't like the pic because of the sun haze (lack of a better word), however with Pioneer Woman's seventies action I now like it =)
