The title is in reference to this birds unique construction of their nests by sewing together leaves with plant fiber and spider webs.

I was going to use this image for Macro Monday, until I reread the theme... it has to be a watch...

So much to do and so little time... this little timepiece sits in my sewing room, complete with dust!!

a felt owl which i draw the pattern to. it's made from cotton fabric and felt. the eyes are wooden buttons.

Some of you may remember these mixed media Madonnas from last fall. Just got my Summer issue of Sew Somerset and found that they had featured these ladies in a four

page piece and another article with my work ( Recycling an Image) on an additional 3 pages!! That's a first for me :-))
