A very close encounter with a confiding Chough at Galley Head, between Rosscarbery and Clonakilty, County Cork. It was serching for grubs in the shade but the camera/lens combination worked well at a high ISO and low shutter speed.

Yup....another shot taken in semi darkness...hence I had to use the flash....
This lil guy spent most of the afternoon trying to get food out of this little hole...the poor birdies didn't get a look in....lol

Hibiscus at night. In one of the worst kept yards in our little "hood" the flowers shine out in the midst of the ugly. In the midst of all the uglies that life brings it's not bad to serch for the beauty that might be hidden right before our eyes.

L'église se trouve construite en contrebas du versant Nord du vallon.
Elle est entourée sur trois côtés d'un enclos de pierres sèches.
Un imposant corps de ferme et sa muraille barre la partie Sud.
De l'extérieur, le corps du bâtiment semble s'enfoncer dans le sol...

Tonight I was just trying to relax a bit after serching and downloading a couple of script I've needed.
One of the last, in the script list, was a page were you can see all the pics that have been on explore...
I've always wondered how people could get to know that their pics are on explore, so I decided to give it a try and I just put my name on the box (as they require), I was VERY sure that it would say I've never had a pic on Explore... and I was going to put in the text box the name of a friend of mine when I've found out that...
