Contractor Norman Hudson's crew has refinished the baptismal pool at this Orthodox church and is now improving the grout. The pool, refinished in ArcusStone™ stucco, now matches the colors of the church building.

The church is partially closed due to Covid-19, as the door sign indicates. My contractor friend Norman Hudson is resurfacing the baptismal pool, so I tagged along to photograph the work. The pool is around the left side of the church building.

Every army has its rank structure.
Seraphim: The highest order of angels, they are closest to God and are described as singing praises around His throne. According to the Book of Isaiah, they have six wings: two to cover their faces, two to cover their feet, and two to fly.
Cherubim: The second highest order, they are depicted as powerful and majestic guardians of God's throne and wisdom.
Thrones: The third order, they represent Divine Majesty and God's authority. They are also associated with divine justice and act as counsellors to other angels.
Dominions, Virtues, and Powers: These are considered the middle tier of the angelic hierarchy.
Principalities, Archangels, and Angels: These form the lowest tier. While Archangels are a high rank, they are not the highest overall; for example, St. Michael is an Archangel, but the Seraphim are higher in the traditional hierarchy.
