An oversize car transporter spotted near the Jiading Xincheng metro station in the outskirts of Shanghai.
Due to their size and limited maneuverability these trucks are not allowed to enter the city proper (limit is the outer ring road). AFAIK, this is the maximum size allowed within the borders of the province-level Shanghai Municipality.
In other provinces one may even encounter such trucks with a double-wide lower deck (and on older, narrow, 2-lane, no emergency lane, expressways these trucks successfully block the entire traffic behind them...).

Okay, I have to come clean, I do know what happened to the big palm tree - our nearby neighbours sold it - the arborists arrived a few days before and gave it a very neat trim - then came back with the heavy artillery to do the lift and move. Two cranes, a mid sized truck plus the semi trailer - quite a team.
No mean feat moving it either, the tree was a full 12 m high plus the 1.2 m deep root ball. The truckie assured us it was to be replanted and would be back in full growth mode within a very short time. Quite an amazing sight to find on your doorstep. Seems they sell for anything up to $5,000.

In a bright and windy day a nice picture of the Vectron 193 516 of SBB Cargo International in Alppiercer outfit with blue heads, hauling the train Ludwigshafen-Novara via Loetschberg-Simplon of Hupac for P400 semitrailers.

I had to stop for this scene just north of home. Hmmm... dry road... no potholes... easy curve... maybe this guy needs to go back to driving school? Luckily, no injuries. Except to the fence.

There is intensive freight traffic by road and rail on the Romanian bank of the Danube. The West – East main line “Magistrala 100” București – Timișoara (533 km) is located right on the river side between Orșova and Turnu Severin, a section of 24 km. The picture shows the back of the train and the back of trucks. The train has a rear end banker to help pass the grades in the area.
