I was one of thousands of amateur photogs snapping self portraits in the reflection of Cloud Gate, but I was the only one with an eight-week old baby strapped to my chest!
My husband and I arrived at Millennium Park just as the Chicago Marathon was concluding. You can imagine the crowds of runners, runners' families, and tourists that crowded the already popular park.

IRIS: A bold art installation of self reflection - designed by Cristina Soru. We invite you to a private rendezvous with Iris. Will you leave her or stay with her? We’ll see that, in a moment of helplessness, the eyes truly are the window to your soul.
THROUGH SOUND WE SEE: An installation from our designer Christian Taylor combining both sound and light to create an evolving visual sculpture.
A GIRL: A moving-image portrait that uses the medium to study subtlety of movement and intimacy through abstract form. A video from our film maker Steven Hutchinson. A Girl deconstructs the subject, analyzes and rebuilds with separate images, using cubist principles to explore space, form and nuance.
