Design Thinking is a meta-model that offers a multitude of models through the process of self-reflection.
A mirror reflected in it self every second reflection in the Golden Room (Gylti Salur) at the Borg Hotel (Hótel Borg) Reykjavik the other reflections are of course the mirror on the opposite wall.
Coming back from 85 degree weather to the mid 40's in Pittsburgh is really depressing. Add in the fact that I had no sleep just made me yearn for some comfort food/drink. So hot chocolate with marshmallows it was made upon getting into work yesterday morning.

I wonder, why, just a little, I'm always wanting something more
Life is a riddle, I wish I had the answer for
Love breaks your heart, to teach you to be strong
I die, just a little, so I can live a little bit more
~Leigh Nash
Another Thanksgiving has come. That time when we stop and reflect upon what we really…want. I need this, I want that, I hope I get this, I should buy that. An endless cycle of wanting, buying, consuming, disposing, and wanting all over again. Is that what we're all about? What it means to be human? What separates us from all the other species that inhabit the earth? I think we're all dying inside. I am not innocent.
This is something really different for me. Had this concept in my head for a long time, but was afraid to try. Didn't turn out exactly as planned, but what does? Inspiration credit goes to Tysje, Mathilda, and Pukilin and their amazing self portraits.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to link to the breathtakingly beautiful song I quoted. Just a Little by the lovely Leigh Nash.
On someone's suggestion I came down to Mooney's Bay, by myself.
Then suddenly I came up with an idea to just put the camera down and take a shot of me in this state, whether it focused on me or not. I think it looks just fine, if not better, focusing on the grass.
The idea of self-reflection is quite true: for instance, I don't have school, no job, and no friends at all to hang out with. My whole life is ahead of me.
Mooney's Bay is perhaps one of my most favorite places in this city. Unfortunately I couldn't stay long - I had to get all the way back home, about 14.94 km away. If I had my way I'd have gone swimming, right there. It's a sandy bottom, no sea weed, and the water is beautiful.
It's kind of lonely there too. That's how I feel anyway. Man, the grass did a good job, I love this composition.
A Wonderful and unique experience captured by lens and felt by the soul. As the city of Trinidad winds the day on down, as sunshine yields into infinite stars shinning upon the lovely inhabitants of Northern California, serenity and peace within yourself continues well into the night. Photo captured along the North Coast in Humboldt County in Trinidad. Late November 2012.
