This was a funny photo of my wife and I. Susan actually thought I was taking a photo of her when I talked to her to look back. But I was actually trying to take a self portrait through the mirror hanging on one steel pole from the shops.

"Every one of us is shadowed by an illusory person, a false self. I wind my experiences around myself and cover myself in glory to make myself perceptible...as if I were an invisible body that could only become visible when something visible covered its surface....But there is no substance under the things with which I am clothed. I am hollow, and my structures of pleasures and ambitions have no foundation. I am my own mistake.....The secret of my identity is hidden in the love and mercy of God."

...in what other ways can one document the same information? in how many ways can we rephrase the simplest ideas? to be able to see one thing from multiple perspectives at once, so much so that there is no room for judgement, allows us to be open. to everything. and to do what we were born to do. without fear of being judged.

Slightly edited selfreflection on a car in Amsterdam. Taken with my HTC Desire using the Camera360 Android app.

It ain't always being easy being a wicked Reflectah, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to make it to the point where I'm at now, and it'll take so much more of both to get me to where I want to be, while all I want, is a looong vacation, lazy me, lol. When I think about this, I always hear this song in my head:

"Sitting in my car watch the stars and smoke

I came a long way but still I got so far to go."

I look around and all I see are shadows. Shadows of where I once was, who I used to be, what I might have been. Sometimes it seems I don't even know who I am anymore. Where is this world taking me? Back to the shadows in my mind.

I love to go for walks and just set my mind free. It is so liberating to be all alone with my thoughts in an unexpectedly beautiful place.

This is probably my all time favorite picture that I've taken.
