Heaven Ocean Green Backdrop - The Bearded Guy
promotional piece for my new website, www.uneventual.com , released few days ago. Feel free to visit.
(ignore the sleepy kitty)
Pretty happy with how they turned out. I always feel like standard cards are a little flimsy, but I'm not planning on putting too many of these through the mail. I'm just psyched to have something current to hand out - my old cards are real stale.
Hey y'all! This is different from my usual photography because I wanted to announce that I opened a shop on Second Life Marketplace called [ moonbreak ]! So far there are a few face and body combo shapes in there, but I hope to add more variety soon!
Self-promo time: I just put up a bunch of new drawings on The Beholder. Please take a look and it's art so, you know, bring the checkbook.
This is what I'll be sending out for my Holiday self-promo card this year. I should be getting the shipment any day now. If you happen to be an Art Director and want one sent your way, by all means e-mail me and I will ;)
“Without advertising, something terrible happens… nothing.” Once this famous statement became rooted into my brain I started my project. Creativity, personalization, and budget-friendly were key in building these mailers. Each mailer has a different message along with a different set of cards to view. A small idea turned into a 3-month long project.
Many thanks to Moo Cards (www.moo.com) for the great looking cards.

I made a pattern for the front and back cover and added a belly band. All printed on 120 lb. Glacier Mist paper from Mohawk.
I did it couple years ago, when we decided to change identity completely.
logotype, invitation for our clients, desktop clock made of paper (working) and paper-bag package for it. Self-promotion with my favorite technique — letterpress.

"It's like forgetting,
The words,
To your favorite song.
You can't believe it,
You were always singin' along." - Eet by Regina Spektor
This is my good friend and Classmate Kayleigh, she is Regina Spektor's double.
This was actually shot today for class, we were given an hour to shoot and edit a self promo. Switched it up and used a Lensbaby Control Freak lens kit on my Mark II. This was the shot I did of Kayleigh.
She photographs amazingly, and I can't wait to get to do more of her when we have a longer time period than 30 minutes to find a location and shoot!
We created this self-promo campaign of “Table Wines” to showcase Rethink’s package design capabilities. The back of each label includes copy crafted to its particular variety of table, giving potential clients a taste of our personality, philosophy and sense of humour.
Copy on this version reads:
At Rethink, we believe great package design is like a ping-pong table: it should inspire intense competition and heated dialogue. Not to mention the occasional fist pump and victory dance.
We think this theory is ready to make the leap from this jug to your product. To see what our package designers can create for you, give us a call. We’d love to sit down with you at our table.
Cheers!
Rethink.

PAK Slide Viewer
made by Le Belle Industries
out of Oconomowoc, Wis.
It holds 8 mounted slides that it ratchets-out onto a small groundglass, that sits below an adjustable loop, that folds inside the body. The mechanism is simple, pulling the silver tap returns the current slide to the bottom of the stack inside the "clip," pushing the silver tab back in loads whatever slide is on top of the stack into viewing position. the viewer can point the groundglass at any nearby light source to illuminate the slide. There is a switch on the bottom of the device that allows the silver tab to be completely removed in order to load/unload slides.
It's a clever little device, but I imagine designed to handle slides mounted on more sturdy material. If the slide is not sitting correctly on the ground glass it can jam as it's returned to the "clip," resulting in bent mounts and/or slide damage.
This is the image being viewed through the loop.

Just found out that I am turning 200.000 views this very moment. Six months ago it was 100.000! I was quite surprised because I haven't been uploading a lot. But my Cardbox Earring Display worked for me all the time :-)
Thanks to all!
