Me, reflected in the side of a car at the Exmouth Classic Car Show

I thought I might as well upload a selfie, seeing as it's the word of the year and all that jazz.

Had the "Bees" out this afternoon & figured it was time to do a selfie using split lighting. Lit by 1 AB 400 with 10 degree grid camera right fired by PCB Cyber sync triggers. Going for that maniacal look!

Too many clouds for the sunset, so it's selfie time!

So a young person of my acquaintance tells me that I haven't been taking my "selfies" correctly.

My usual process involves setting up my DSLR on a tripod, careful prefocusing and composition, and the use of a remote control to capture the image. Yes, it's complex, but I'm exacting about my image quality. Imagine my shock when I found out that you're supposed to take selfies with your phone! (Who knew?) All that work making decent images was for nothing!

Well, I've managed to fix that little problem! Presenting my first selfie with my phone! (Take that!)
