Photo of my hands taking a photo of themselves

Just thought I'd post a selfie. If you like this photo, why not follow me on my YouTube channel and follow my travels around the world?

Initially created in MidJourney then re-processed through DDT2D and three different images blended in Photoshop.

In this selfie day and age, why not?

I better catch myself while I am still a young puppy. (Sarcasm implied) Part two here.

I don't take a lot of pictures of myself but I needed a subject to demonstrate the bokeh of this vintage prime.

Actually, I wanted to do the portrait with the APP - but then I would not have had a hand for the frame. So as usual 10 seconds self-timer ... You do not want to know how many attempts there were at 1.8 aperture ;-)

Eigentlich wollte ich das Porträt mit der APP machen – dann hätte ich aber keine Hand für den Rahmen freigehabt. Also wie herkömmlich 10 Sekunden Selbstauslöser ... Ihr wollt nicht wissen, wie viele Versuche es gab bei 1.8 Blendenöffnung ;-)

This goes completely against something I'd usually do, but I figured in light of the special occasion I could make an exception. Today was Austin's first train trip in Canada, just a short jaunt from Halifax to Truro. While the entire extended family rode the Hobo in NH last summer, I think this one counts just a tad more as his first official train trip. I figured a proper documentation at Truro was in order, before parting ways with the westbound Ocean. Due to inward facing cameras in nearly every mainline engine now (VIA included), the engineer was more than happy to take this "selfie" of me and my three year old on the platform (rather than the cab) rounding out the trip!

" St Alexander Nevski" is the main cathedral in Sofia, the city of my birth. Iconic building and a strong nostalgic link (I've had this picture on my walls wherever I moved homes - and countries - over 30+ years)...

And, yes - I know how to take photos without reflections and even do 'proper' reproductions, but just felt I'd like to snap this version ;) ))
