Bold woman in stylish black outfit stands confidently against vibrant abstract backdrop.
A woman with striking red hair poses confidently in a black leather outfit. The dynamic abstract background features colorful swirls and splashes of paint, creating an energetic atmosphere with the effect of her red hair seemingly flowing into the painting.
# 🎨 *The Painting in the Artist*
In a gallery tucked between the steel veins of the city, where concrete met canvas and neon flirted with nostalgia, she stood—unapologetically bold, a living brushstroke against a riot of color. Her name was Sera, and she wasn’t just in the painting. She was the painting.
Clad in a sleek black leather outfit that clung to her like a second skin, Sera’s presence was magnetic. Her red hair cascaded in waves, catching the gallery lights and seeming to bleed into the abstract backdrop behind her—an explosion of swirling color, splashes of electric blue, citrus orange, and fuchsia that danced like emotion made visible. The painting behind her was hers, but it was also her mirror.
She had painted it in a fevered burst of self-expression, each stroke a declaration of defiance, each swirl a rebellion against conformity. The canvas was large, almost overwhelming, but it bowed to her presence. Viewers didn’t just admire the art—they felt it, as if her confidence had seeped into the pigments themselves.
Sera’s pose was deliberate: chin lifted, one hand on her hip, the other relaxed, fingers stained with dried paint. Her black jacket, tailored and edgy, framed her like punctuation in a sentence of color. She didn’t smile, but her eyes held a spark—an invitation to see not just the art, but the artist. Not just the woman, but the force.
Around her, the gallery buzzed with murmurs and admiration. Some called it street art elevated to high fashion. Others saw emotional depth in the chaos. But all agreed on one thing: Sera had turned the act of painting into performance, and the performance into portraiture.
She was the muse and the maker, the canvas and the color. In a world that often-demanded softness, she chose sharpness. In a culture that prized subtlety, she embraced spectacle. And in that moment, framed by her own creation, she reminded everyone that true artistry isn’t just about what you make—it’s about who you dare to be.
I met this gent and his lady friend at the marine lake in New Brighton, i thought they looked great and so i asked if i could get the shot to which they kindly obliged, I think they were oblivious to the relentless sneers and stupid looks they were getting from passers by, people with no style or sense of self expression, no individualism, just fashion freaks on a monotunous highway, I take my hat of to people like this, saved me a trip to Whitby bay :-)

Elegant twins in stunning black outfits pose against a floral backdrop in a luxurious setting
Two elegant women stand confidently in coordinating black outfits, showcasing intricate designs. They pose against a vivid floral backdrop, exuding glamour and sophistication.
"Mirrors in Bloom"
In the hush of a summer garden,
where red roses spill their velvet secrets,
two figures stand—
twin reflections of elegance,
draped in black like midnight’s own couture.
Their gowns, intricate as whispered vows,
trace the language of design
in every seam and shimmer.
Gold-threaded accessories catch the light,
a constellation scattered across silk.
Behind them, a floral backdrop bursts—
vivid colors in full celebration,
petals framing their poise
like a painter’s final, perfect stroke.
They pose with the ease of those
who know the power of presence—
chic silhouettes carved against
a riot of summer bloom.
Confidence is their shared crown,
grace their unspoken bond.
The air hums with modernity and memory,
luxury and life intertwined.
They are not merely dressed—
they are *composed*,
each detail a note in a symphony
of style, charm, and self-expression.
In this moment,
the world sees not just two women,
but a singular vision—
mirrored beauty,
framed in flowers,
etched in the language of high fashion.
"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one." ― George R.R. Martin, A Dance with Dragons
If I could, I would tell you this: you think you’re starting the adventure of your life; just don’t lose yourself along the way.
Not everything is meant to last forever.
And that’s alright.

Tiny Gold earrings: I got them in NY so long ago!
That moment
that call
that voice
those words
I hold my breath
close my eyes
try to shut it out
But that voice
unyieldingly keeps talking
asking me, ”do you understand?”
and I give up
gasp for air
heart pounding
taking it in
every syllable
crystal clear
piercing my heart
word after word
That moment
relentlessly returning
dimming each day
drilling through the darkness of the night
Twilight,
neverending
one moment in time

Confident woman in a stylish black leather jacket poses against a dramatic swirling background
A striking woman with long, flowing red hair stands confidently in a black leather jacket and dramatic red skirt. The swirling background adds a bold artistic touch to the scene.
"Storm in Scarlet"
She stands where the wind is made of color,
where the air itself swirls in painted motion—
a living canvas of bold defiance.
Red hair, a banner of fire,
streams over the black sheen of leather,
its edges catching the light like a promise.
The skirt—scarlet as a heartbeat—
cuts through the storm behind her,
a flash of passion against the chaos.
Her gaze is unshaken,
a steady flame in the vortex,
owning the space as if it were built for her alone.
Every line of her stance speaks
in the language of confidence—
hips squared, shoulders back,
the world bending subtly toward her gravity.
She is fashion and force,
art and attitude,
a portrait of modern glamour
wrapped in the electricity of self-expression.
In this moment,
she is not just part of the scene—
she *is* the scene,
the storm’s center,
the reason the colors move at all.
Duality; we are vast beings within this human shell. We are expansive beyond measure. We are beings capable of so much yet can be held back with so little. Society boxes us into being just one thing for most of our lives. For some people, that works well but not for me. I am a vast expansive Universe of creative energy. Free and weird. Don’t mask me with what you think I should be. Let me be free and let my passions collide. I am more than one thing. I am multiple things. I have multiple loves. I want multiple ways and I will not rest until I am okay with that.

I am a big fan of D.Gray Man's manga work, and I took Teez as inspiration to take these pictures. Teez is a golem that feeds on human organs, and only when they call him back, the host realize that has it.

Twelve a Year JANUARY
I woke up not knowing where to go for how I wanted to portray my photo project. I thought of driving to the beach, mountains, and forest. I decided to go back to a forest I hadn't visited from when I first found it. I ended up climbing up the wrong hillside since the memory markers were from three years ago. When I finally found it, I felt in awe just as the very first time. This place is a hidden secret I stumbled upon and you can only find it if you take the path less traveled. Sometimes you need to go off course in order to find what you never knew you were looking for. It will sometimes find you instead.
Started a group on Flickr for those who would like to join the "Twelve a Year" challenge.

Poor Harold was robbed of everything while he was taking a shower in his RV, all his clothes and belongings gone. The only things they left was 6 cameras and a bucket of silver paint.
