NEW CLEAR IS THE NEW KEEN... A WORD PLAY OF COURSE (ONCE AGAIN) AND TO BE FOLLOWED BY OTHER ONES AS TIMES WERE COMING THAT I FOUND MYSELF INTO SOME WET SANDS AGAIN, ALTHOUGH THIS TIME, I WAS AT LEAST OUT OF BEING TOO CLOSE TO BEING IN THE STREETS.
This work came of age on march 11 2011, the day where Japan had known the "Fukushima Incident"
It's a mirror work to the famous infamous yellow cake supposedly to be found in Irak years before.
it is as well just a statement about the state of affair in our societies where to be lost does not necessarily make of you someone who is gonna be helped.
NEW KEEN (NUKE IN) IS THE NEW CLEAR (NUCLEAR..)(well) YELL'O C-ACHE

finally me
i wear it far too long
no, i can't seem to let go of it
i shine light a diamond, but nobody sees the shadow
it suits me terrifyingly well,
fuck, sometimes i believe myself
it shows no sign of weakness, until it's down
she keeps a promise and feelings away
i shine in the wrong light
the shadow's getting larger in me
it weighs about a ton - my maske - my guilt
she crushes who i am, she blocks my clear sight

(Self Expression series - Expressi Diri v2)
Its been a while since I last do experiment on self expression. I love the challenge to come up with the body language that convey certain emotions to people. Its hard, thats why makes it so interesting to try it out..
post processing was done to blacken the background a lil more
Im having problem finding a title or emotions thats suitable with this pics. Any suggestion of what you think I have in my mind when I pose like this?

It's time to take that step into the kingdom
All your sins will only make you strong
And help you break right through the prison wall"

Random Thoughts of Mine - 6.4.10
Here we are sharing time and space. You and I. Although others are around us, right here, right now has impact and importance. I see you and you see me. Our connection has been formed. You smiled and said hello and I suddenly forgot about the prior moment that cause me grief and agony. That person, that thing, that so called human life form. I almost didn't hear your words that said, "you look very pretty tonight". Those kind words made me decide to erase those negative thoughts from my mind and instead hold your kind words close to the veins and arteries which pump life into my body. Thank you being a blessing to me today.
In the background, a human is being casually carried off by an alien. No one seems to be too concerned, so it must be fairly common around here….

“Then the law will do it for them. If they refuse to live under the law, then they simply won’t live. You might say that this is one of the law’s basic operations: Those who threaten the stability of the community by defying the law automatically eliminate themselves.” – Ishmael (page 144)

I have used an idea similar to this quite recently but it was late and I was having flickr block, so this is what I came up with tonight: Similar shoes in Black; new setting
For Kira's Art Journal Challenge..."Today, find a snapshot, paste it in your journal".....
I found this old picture from a road trip from KY to Gatlinburg TN, where I'd snapped a photo of my feet up on the dashboard. I just got the inspiration and went with it....sanded the photo down, painted the sky and background with watercolors...and glued into a journal page I painted previously...I added the blue/green strip of painted paper and went from there.....
This is one of my recent faves...

Sadly, a true statement. Funny, though.

And she has a dragon mask and a great smile. I might have a squish.

465 Candles
After carols filled the air
and before the fireworks upstaged the stars,
I had my first cry.
The first candle I had was baby blue.
Photographs told me so. ‘Twas Ma’s and Pa’s air
that blew the candle off.
Same table but with different mantle,
family and friends chanted
as I blew the 105th candle. I was 14 then.
Oh how I missed that table during Decembers.
Gone are the claps, the cheers, the balloons. Alone, I blew
the 216th candle with a cold glass of cola.
Another set of candles will come my way, for a grand
total of 465. Still missing that old table,
just a toast to wind with unfamiliar lyrics.
But its still my birthday, wherever I am, whoever I am with.

On this day my dear friend Erica asked me to take a mould of her left breast before the mastectomy. After a first failed attempt we managed to take a cast of it. Another step in her journey that is breast cancer...... If you have been touched by cancer, or by the strength that Ericas story shows please donate to www.mcgrathfoundation.com or www.nbcf.org.au/
