Where Life Lasts Forever....
Today, in Athens the sky feels heavy, wrapped in shades of grey, the air sharpened by a sudden chill, and this change pulls me inward, and my mind drifts back to Ikaria—the island’s green-blue waters, shimmering under the sun, and the rhythm of life so unhurried it felt like time itself softened....
🌊 I can almost hear the sea again, taste the salt on the breeze, and remember what it was like to simply be, without hurry.
Each day was marked not by clocks but by the slow rhythm of sun and sea, by laughter shared over simple meals, by the ease of lingering without reason 😋
🙏In those moments, I felt a quiet gratitude, as though the island itself had offered me a gift: the freedom to just exist, gently, fully, alive.
Against today’s cold, I carry the warmth of those slow days, where silence had a song and the hours dissolved like salt in water 🌊
