Nestled within the Chateau OTSM Zen Sanctuary, this space was created for deep relaxation, healing, and inner peace. 💚 A cozy retreat for grounding, self-reflection, and one-on-one meditation sessions, where every detail whispers serenity. 🌿
The Zen Sanctuary has now been lovingly restored to its intended tranquil state—a haven of peace, away from the noise. If you’ve been longing for a virtual escape, consider booking a day, weekend, or group retreat designed for self-love and mindful rejuvenation. ♀️✨
Treat yourself or a loved one to a bespoke self-care experience, where you can truly unwind, recharge, and embrace the stillness. And yes, if you thought you saw it all during the Self-Love Event, think again... I always have a few surprises up my sleeve! 😉💫

Don't let your mind get weary and confused
You will be still, don't try
Don't let your heart get heavy child
Inside you there's a strength that lies
Don't let your soul get lonely child
It's only time, it will go by
Don't look for love in faces, places
It's in you, that's where you'll find kindness
Be here now, here now
Be here now, here now
Don't lose your faith in me
And I will try not to lose faith in you
Don't put your trust in walls
'Cause walls will only crush you when they fall
Be here now, here now
Be here now, here now

Anxious to see the reborn Owens Lake, I headed up into the Inyo Mountains hoping to get a view from above with the snow-capped Sierra Nevada behind. From a high up campsite, we watched as some storms broke on both sides of the valley, snowing for a time on us. As the storm cleared the crescent moon was revealed and the dim light illuminated the valley just enough to make out the landscape. On the far side US 395 had a steady stream of travelers traversing the magical landscape. I decided to do something I very, very rarely do, and I wondered out in front of my own camera to help with the sense of scale.

A beautiful and spotless complex of palaces, halls, pavilions, gardens, and temples. All thanks to the women like her who faithfully keep up the grounds.

i shot this one my hot shots course last weekend. on the 1st day every participant gets lent a lomo LCA and list of 66 things to photography on 2 rolls on film in 3 hours. i also take part in all the exercises that i ask the students do to show that not evey shot i take is great. this was for a "reflection" (the lomo LCA's minimum focal distance).
The heat in the summer of 2023 was cruel in Japan's capital. Nevertheless, we set out to explore the city and found the reflection of the "Tokyo Station" building in the golden light of the later afternoon. To get the building completely on the photo with as little distortion as possible, a panorama of several individual shots was necessary.

Don't know what this millipede tried to achieve, but it curled itself up and tried hide in the middle of itself -- introspection, self reflection, trying to discover itself ?... whatever, but it seems to fit today's MM theme....
recently I've been analyzing too many things. Do you have days like that when you can't stop thinking of things you better not think about? Like what the future holds and other stuff.

Cultural colors coming together
Flowing, merging with the soul,
Outside mirrors the inside but not entirely,
Ideas and beliefs come from everywhere not just one source
One cannot literally face themselves, it is impossible.
Mirrors tell the truth in reverse
I wonder how it would be like to face ones self
Watch the mannerisms
Listen to ones own voice from outside the body
It sounds different in the head
Always wondering and exploring
I duno… im just babbling…

When we begin to drown in self-reflection, we realize that who we thought we are, is merely a shadow of what we project ourselves to be.
I found this Lilly drowning in the lake. It was near another Lilly that was so beautifully standing above the water.
I chose an angle of view, that would align the reflection in the reverse order. Where the reflection of the other Lilly would be above the one that is drowning.
This angle of view, and what it symbolizes for me, is metaphoric to my own personal journey in the last few months.
I wonder how you would interpret this for yourself. Let me know what you see through this image?

Self-portrait playing with light from a lamp and the traffic lights coming through my blinds in the background.
Sometimes life is about self-exploration especially when one is going through a time of transition and change. I have been trying to decide what's up with the random self-portraits I've been doing since they are not particularly about being vain or showing off (which secretly I felt insecure about everytime I posted them). They are partly because life is busy, and in the evening when I finally get home there are only so many photography subject to take photos of. However, I am realizing after some self-reflection that they are about trying to re-learn who I am as just me. So here's one with hair a mess and no make-up. No smile because it's about looking looking backward, and self-reflecting for better or worse. This one is just me.
