Precious cargo! India is one country where trains still have luggage vans and all manner of items are transported across the network in relative speed and safety. One of the more delicate cargos are cardboard boxes full of live chicks. Here at Manmad, these small yellow bundles of fluff have been transported overnight on the Ajanta Express from Secunderabad ready for onward growing and consumption in the Manmad area. 6th December 2022.

12286/H.Nizamuddin ⇌ Secunderabad Duronto Express on its second run with uniform Duronto Vinyl LHB rake hauled by 100th White Horse of ELS/LGD, WAP-7 37085 "SHATASHV" on our Birthdays (this train & myself 🎂).
This was the second Duronto after 12245/46 to get such uniform vinyl rake but the first one to commence ride. 😀
