My Photoblog- My Third Eye...!

As the seasons change, some low-lying clouds remind me that stormy days are ahead. But for now, I enjoy the September colors at the end of the day.

At last, the flower season is here. With long days, short nights, sunny dry weather is all in bloom very soon, therefore, if you want to experience the beauty and take photos, you have a great hurry now.

Sorry if I do not have time for all of my good friends' pictures, but I try to keep up with everything.

Sorry also to Group Window Wednesday, I was lost in the days of yesterday. Loaded up a day early! :))

Found this early Pulsatilla beside a warm stone, in full bloom.

Over the field there where a lot of buds, I will go back in a few days.

Thank you all so much for your support and kindness throughout this year!

Best wishes for a bright and beautiful Holiday Season.

今年もたくさんの温かいコメントありがとうございました。

I love the winter, when snow that lights up our dark season, when the sun only is here for a couple hours.

I love the spring when the birds return, gives me symphony orchestra in the forest, all the flowers on the ground.

I love summer hot days, light clothing, a picnic in the park, boat trip on the lake.

But mostly I love the fall for all the wonderful colors.

The trees vary even just in a little yellow here, but I will jump-start with my own creationer in autumn color robes.

Thank you dear Flickr friends for kindly visit, comment and fav.

Gotta balance the focus stacked images every so often and the Meyer Optik lens has been wondering when I would get off of f/8 and open it up a bit. Well this week seemed like the perfect opportunity to do just that. No stacking here, just one image with very little focus but plenty of colorful bokeh. I did have to wait for some direct sunlight but the rest was easy, Put a curly pile of scaly gold and blue ribbon on a mirror, stick it in the sun filtered a bit with a white screen and go bokeh hunting with the Meyer Optik 50mm f/1.8 set on wide open and a Nikon PK-12 14mm extension tube. After seeing a potential angle a bit of poking and prodding completed the look. The colors were so vivid not much post processing was needed. Truth be told I did take plenty of shots and I started with artificial lights but the bokeh came out looking a bit soft and diffused so I waited and hoped for sunlight which I got the next day in the afternoon.

The image measures app 2 x 3 inches but hard to say, the curl measured 1 inch in diameter. Made for the Macro Mondays group, Theme, "Wrapping".

Best wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season

Don't worry it isn't my fishing boat...lol.....mine is safely stored in the garage for the winter. This photo was taken about 30 minutes prior to the photo "Heaven's Gate" .....just prior to the fog lifting to reveal a spectacular blue sky. Thankyou for all your wonderful congrats!!!

Winter season definitely not a good time for baseball, some small snow make the field looks different. 我家旁邊中學的棒球場,冬天有幾分蕭瑟....

Very busy lately and with hard flu. Will visit all of you litle by little...

Hope you are are with no fever there ;)

~ The Thin Veil Between Black and White ~ Poem by me

~ 09.19.16 - 06.18.2017

All our "sorry's" and lies are not cookie-cutter the same.

Some are said, and in shame

You feel the havoc you could've wrought.

Others, like an afterthought;

When you weave something all the time

And don't really care a dime.

The trick is to know

The first you forgive, the second, let go.

Wishing you peace and joy!

Little Wood-Nymph 'nephele' butterfly taking a brief rest.

Last week there were none. After some cooler rain and windy weather, things have settled. Today, after walking a short distance in a nearby meadow, I observed over 100 of these little creatures doing their grass-top floppy-dance.

Very common this time of the year.

Some call it Autumn, some call it Indian Summer. Temperatures in the twenties and 10 hours of sunshine keep the mood up. Porta Westfalica, Ostwestfalen, Germany

Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2016 to my friends and all the Flickr people :-))

When hiking through the moorlands of Ho there was this strange feeling combined with the question „is this still Summer or already Autumn ?“. Jylland, Denmark

Springtime in Zion Canyon. Red rock, lush green vegetation. I've long been fascinated by the small dwelling at the base of the mountains. It's the kind of place where I'd like to hunker down and watch the seasons change over a year. I suspect there would be much to marvel at--and much to learn.
