Slowly but surely

Today Sean Edwards passed away during a serious crash whilst coaching a young driver in Australia. The driver is still critical and I hope he makes a good recovery. As a small tribute to Sean here is a shot of him flying out of Club Corner, Silverstone in 2012 when he was with the Konrad Motorsport team.

Wales’s Grand Slam-winning national rugby team will be given a hero’s welcome at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay on 19 March to mark their triumphant Six Nations season.

The team clinched the Grand Slam after beating France at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

They will arrive on the steps of the Senedd, in Cardiff Bay at around 18.00 where the public are invited to come and celebrate with them.

Sean Edwards (Team Allyouneed by Project 1/Porsche 911 GT3 Cup), Porsche Supercup, Catalunya, 2013.

The only British driver competing in the full Supercup championship, Sean (son of F1 driver Guy Edwards) was 2006 FIA GT3 champion and in 2012 competed in the American Le Mans Series alongside European Porsche races. Started 2013 strongly with an overall win at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the first English driver to do so.
