I swam a mile at the pool here yesterday. I entered the water wanting to swim a mile in less than 50 minutes by the end of march...turns out that a mile takes me 44:20! I will have to recalibrate my goal.
For the first 10 laps of my 1 mile swim, I enjoyed watching the sky change color with each breath I drew. It was exquisite! After the sun set, I put my head down and went to work on my form focus. Putting all of the distance freestyle techniques together.
