To kick off 2017 I've decided to make a draugr deathlord from Skyrim! Only reason I've made this custom as an entry into Dalastprime's contest.

This sculpt turned out amazing and it's my favorite sculpt I've made so far and I think the paint job will turn out awesome, I might make some more Skyrim customs so if you have any suggestions let me know!

Comments and faves appreciated! Hope you guys like the sculpt!

The pattern created by the wind and water caught my eye.

Hope it looks good.

But should i make a nose too?

There's only a few more days till I present my photos taken in the Hawai'ian Islands to my neighbors here in our mobile home park, and usually I have so many photos that I have to whittle down the total amount for the presentation, in which I usually present about 90 or so images along with narration which I write to fit the time frame. About a half hour.

For my presentation on Hawai'i, called "Tropical Paradise", I picked about 70 images, and that's almost too few, so I've been adding more to the presentation (and to my social media feeds, thus the avalanche of Hawai'i photos lately.

I like this image so much I posted it as my cover for my Facebook Photography site. I remember the day well, and I remember circling this driftwood structure, constructed by someone with driftwood on the beach, for which Lydgate Beach Park is known. As usual, this was one of the images I skipped over when posting the photos from my 2023 trip to Kaua'i, so it's brand new even though it's a few years old!

I was lucky to be visiting Alberta when the Ice Magic Festival was happening.

The International Ice Carving Competition is the highlight event at the Ice Magic Festival in Lake Louise, Alberta where ice carvers work to sculpt towering one-of-a-kind works of art from 300lb blocks of solid ice over a grueling 34 hours.

Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse - precise, wirelles and curvy

Captured during a very enjoyable evening with fellow photographers Sean Lewis, Alan Frost and Gerry Gavigan and I have to say that the dunes were a fair challenge. For me it did't really come together until the last rays of sunlight began to work their magic sculpting the subtle ripples and texture in the sand. I'd like to have stayed a little longer but there was real danger that my car would end up the wrong side of a padlocked gate. I made it with seconds to spare.

Another side project in between commissions. The sculpting was finished a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to painting it.

I never liked LEGO's scout trooper helmet, the proportions and positioning of parts were all wrong. I was originally going to make this a decaled figure, but decided to sculpt it all the way. Knowing that walking around in Endor's mud is no clean task, I dirtied the boots and weathered the gun to make him look like he's seen a speeder chase or two.

The speeder is based off of BrickDoctor's speeder from ages ago, modified for my own interpretation. I figured if I was going to make a nice scene with this guy, it just wouldn't be complete without the speeder.

I'll post a video review after I post Rey's soon. So as always, expect more, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Blade runner figs, they're either a benefit or a hazard

and this one is definitely a HAZARD.

Personally i hate this fig. the head, the torso i hate everything about this.

Not sure why i uploaded this

maybe i need to hear some well earned feedback or something i don't know.

Maybe it's all in my head who knows...

Maybe i need a break.

Thanks.

[There are 11 photos in this set on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Raleigh, North Carolina.] This is a creative commons image, which you may freely use by linking to this page. Please respect the photographer and his work.

One of the pleasures of sculpture in the round is being able to view it from many angles. I narrowed the photos to ten, more than normal. These are black and white as a consequence of my inexperience. The light just wasn’t right for the bronze; or, if it was, I didn’t know what to do.

This group of bronze figures, dedicated on Memorial Day, May 23, 1987, is located in Capitol Square, North Carolina. This Vietnam Veterans Memorial is called “After the Firefight” and depicts three soldiers, one wounded who is being carried by his buddies to safety. Holding weapons, two soldiers warily move with eyes focused ahead and in the air. The third soldier is cradled by the rear soldier as the front one grasps the cloth of the wounded man’s pants leg. The sculptor Abbe Godwin is from Colfax, North Carolina. She was able to sculpt this with equipment borrowed from veterans; the details of the three figures are quite amazing—canteen, knife, grenade, knife, bandaged leg, shoes, guns. The facial expressions show the intensity of emotions of soldiers in a tense situation.

Not had time to get out for any photos this week so heres one from Seascale beach a couple of weeks ago. The sand sculpted into waves by the sea caught my eye and I thought it would make an interesting image.

Hey guy's,

Sorry for my lack of uploading stuff. I've been going through a lot lately and customizing wasn't my number one priority. But now that I have some time on my hands, I can finally go back to my hobby!

Here is my finished Vader sculpt! I was gonna post him before the premierre of episode 7 (Which was amazing btw!) but like I said, I didn't have a lot of time.

Currently I'm working on two other sculpts, one which is about 90% finished and the other probably around 60%.

I hope you guy's like him! He won't be painted soon, as I want to spray paint him black instead of using a brush (Saving some time) but I still have to purchase a can.

Cheers!

Saint Petersburg formerly known as Petrograd (1914–1924), then Leningrad (1924–1991), is a city situated on the Neva River, at the head of the Gulf of Finland on the Baltic Sea. With over 5.3 million inhabitants as of 2018, it is the fourth-most populous city in Europe, as well as being the northernmost city with over one million people. An important port on the Baltic Sea, it has a status of a federal subject (a federal city).

The Historic Centre of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Saint Petersburg is home to the Hermitage, one of the largest art museums in the world.

Here's another unpainted sculpt I've had around pretty much finished for a few months now. This is my second attempt at sculpting this character, here is my first try.

This sculpt features numerous removable parts, such as both swords, the crossbow (which can be attached to a ring on the back with the scabbards), the Witcher medallion and the butcher's hook on his waistbelt.

The face is painted by Billy.

This piece will not be casted, I have some other projects coming up that will though.
