Argyll of Wemyss Bay were very much part of the deregulation bus scene in the Inverlyde area and in 1990 acquired several former Western SMT Leyland Leopards for their operations.
SCS 345M came from Vanguard, Bedworth and is seen on a wet day in Ashton heading along the seafront from McInroy's Point into Gourock. It lasted with Argyll until late 90/91.
