I discovered this most interesting design last time I was in Ithaca. I rather like the scrolls!

A Kai themed MOC has been on my to-build list for a long time! Originally, I was thinking about doing an ordinary studs-up vignette, with scenes in corners all around a central core, but that didn't seem very photogenic. I've built a couple smaller scrolls before, but I've always wanted to do a really good larger one! Not sure I quite achieved that goal, but I am very happy with the two smaller scenes here and with the overall look.

There's a Build Log on my blog and a Time Lapse video on my YouTube, if you'd like to see the process behind this creation!

One of the excellent characters that work at Blists Hills Victorian village in Ironforge.

I'm actually very impressed with the low light performance of this GX80 especially from a micro four thirds sensor. I'd comfortably use it up to iso 3200 and probably 6400 which is very impressive from the sensor.
