Scripture: Genesis 1:3. Colorful artwork by Art, an active member of our church who lives with Cerebral Palsy.
Just imagine what it was like in the beginning. The whole earth was in darkness. Then with one vocal command from God, glorious light broke forth revealing brilliant color! --- Wow, what a Mighty God we serve!
An interesting cross. Starting at the bottom, you have Jacob wrestling with "the Devil" (in quotes because most modern scholarship doesn't believe this figure to be the Devil but God Himself, perhaps a preincarnate Christ). Go one up and you have Paul and Timothy talking. One more is Christ as Judge, accompanied by two angels harkeening the end of the world. The very top two symbols are ancient symbols for faith. On the left of the bar is David. The right bar is Daniel in the Lion's Den.
My Spirit, as in God's Holy Spirit.
When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are My Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Luke 3:21-22

"My Spirit is humble like a dove" is a quote from a prophetic word and interpretation of the Lord at the Jesus Assembly of God Church in St Peter, MN on February 13, 2011. Jesus said that humility is needed in the church and then there will be an outpouring of His Holy Spirit! May it be so! Hallelujah!!

A Jacobean three storey school opened by Thomas Guthrie, a 'preacher and philanthropist' whose statue is in Princes Street, and one of the leaders of the 1843 Disruption. The gable to Ramsay Lane has hoodmoulded windows and carries the date 1850.
The door to Ramsay Lane has a sculpted stone in the shape of an open bible over it, with the inscription 'Search the Scriptures', quoted from the Book of John.
There is another shaped gable overlooking the courtyard of the Outlook Tower towards the main street. The ground floor of this building is now used as a shop for the Outlook Tower with a ground floor entrance from the courtyard. [from SCRAN]
