A traditional Kandian Drummers from Sri Lanka making an announcement before the all-night chanting starts.
The Pali Chanting --a stylised oral interpretation of the Pali-language text in the Tipitaka-- was delivered by a team of monks in the Sri Lanka Buddhist Theravada tradition.
Several hundreds devotees gather for the chanting celemony on the eve of the Kathina and Tipitaka presentation the following day.

Easter is not all bunnies and chocolate. Its a time to remember our Lord and Saviour, what he did for us on that cross.
