NIEUWE FILMERS FILMCAFE #1 over - SCRIPTWRITING, van idee naar script, hoe vertel je wat je wilt vertellen, vanuit fictie en docu -
Op woensdag 18 april vond het eerste NIEUWE FILMERS Filmcafé van dit jaar plaats in de sfeervolle Clubzaal van de Verkadefabriek in Den Bosch! Een avondvullend programma met interviews met jonge en ervaren filmmakers over scriptwriting en de nieuwe rubriek Intermezzo dit keer met Dorien van de Pas van het Nederlands Filmfonds over de mogelijkheden voor jonge filmmakers vanuit het fonds, afgewisseld met filmfragmenten en filmmuziek. Interessant voor filmmakers én nieuwsgierige filmliefhebbers!
Host van deze avond is de Bossche presentator Mourad Majaiti en ontvangt onze gasten:

Bert Scholiers [B] scenarioschrijver en regisseur, over zijn debuutfilm ‘Charlie en Hannah gaan uit’, première in NL juni 2018. En de manier waarop hij naar filmmaken kijkt en zijn verhaal verteld: "Cinema is een fantastisch medium dat alles toelaat. In principe zit er geen enkele regel aan vast" [filmkrant maart 2018]
Rudi Brekelmans scenarioschrijver, Studio Nova Tilburg, over de Do’s and Don’ts bij scenarioschrijven. Scenarioschrijver van de film ‘To catch a fly’ [regie Sanne Kortooms] en animatie ‘Bullet time’ [regie Frodo Kuipers]
Intermezzo met
Dorien van de Pas hoofd New Screen NL, Nederlands Filmfonds en Nederlandse gedelegeerde voor Eurimages. Over de mogelijkheden vanuit het Nederlands Filmfonds voor jonge filmmakers. New Screen; loket voor nieuwe filmmakers, schrijvers en producenten. Zij was van 2013-2017 consulent voor nieuw talent bij het Filmfonds.

Daan Jongbloed documentairemaker van o.a. ‘Boer Peer’, draait momenteel op Hot Docs in Toronto , Golden Wing Award, beste documentaire Eindhovens Film Festival 2017, ‘Wisdom of the mountains’ en ‘Klein Palermo’.
Petra Lataster-Czisch en Peter Lataster Latasterfilms, gerenommeerde documentairemakers van o.a. “Niet zonder jou” (Gouden Kalf), “De kinderen van juf Kiet” (DDG Award, Gouden Kalf), Awake in a Bad Dream [IDFA Award for Best Dutch Documentary].
Dj Losse Veter, geïnspireerd door filmmuziek, verzorgde deze avond muzikale verrassingen.
Ook werd het publiek geïnformeerd over de NIEUWE FILMERS editie 2018 met; de FILMCAFÉS op 16 mei- 13 juni- 11 juli en twee MASTERCLASSES in juni en juli, in de aanloop naar het ONE WEEK FILM project ‘filmmaken in 1 week’ dat plaatsvindt van 13 t/m 17 augustus. De films beleven op 8 september hun feestelijke première tijdens het NIEUWE FILMERS FILM FESTIVAL in de grote zaal van de Verkadefabriek. De NIEUWE FILMERS projecten worden georganiseerd i.s.m. de Verkadefabriek Den Bosch. Meer info www.nieuwefilmers.nl
