Scribbly gums are eucalyptus trees (usually, but not always, (Eucalyptus haemastoma) that have "scribbles" in their bark from the larvae of the scribbly gum moth (Ogmograptis scribula).

Just a chilly lunchtime illustration. I'm happy with the way he turned out.
