Process notes

 

Walk around take pictures of NYC. Bring the RAW image into Adobe lightroom and push it around. Settled on a bleached out color spectrum. Pop the image into Adobe Fresco.

 

First layer is drawing body parts in black ink. The same pen is used to graffiti text in the image. Body parts are filled. Opacity of layers are adjusted. Add another layer of color stuff for fun.

I knackered 2 felt tips doing this. And it was so much fun! Hence the emphatic 'Woo hoo'.

The tiny larvaie of the scribbly moth (Omograptis scribula) makes these wonderful patterns on a few smooth bark Eucalyptus trees. Notice how the 'scribble' becomes bigger as the larva grows ... so you can see the entry and exit points.

 

These trees are a wonderful feature of the Australian landscape.

Bark of a gum tree ... spotted when the GPS decided to send us down a country road that was a dead end, on the way to Woollongong!!
