These are sandwiched between the glass and emulsified screen (didn't photograph the emulsifying step). I usually double them up to make sure it's good and dark, though you could probably get away with a single layer. They're backwards because this is the bottom of the screen you're looking at.
Here is where I clean my screens. I've got a nice nozzle with different settings.
Being outdoors you should be careful at what time you wash. Due to school, work, and a variety of other things I was stuck working literally from the evening until the next morning for majority of the past week or two.
I was approached by a neighbor wondering what I've been doing every night. Luckily I could tell her that it would be the last night for this project. As she had guessed from my recently dyed blue hair, I was an "artist" working on a big project. It seems being weird and having odd hours is a requirement.
Maybe I'll give her family a print of the poster for being so nice about the situation and not just calling the cops.
Screen printed at home using the cut paper technique - each colour was printed separately after the previous had dried.
