falling behind in schoolwork!
The whole process of getting the block print to a screen allows for cheaper production, cheaper output, and more of a flexibility with color and surface applicaitons.
3-color t-shirts i printed for a coworker walking in the MS Walk on April 14 in Washington, DC (her design).
three color printing on a 1-color screen press is pretty much a huge pain in the ass.

I didn't photo how I packed this, but I assure you it's man handled oh so well. First I stacked it tightly with same sized cardboard on top and bottom and wrapped it in a rugged paper. Next, I put that in a plastic bag and cut a piece of cardboard to wrap around the stack again, which would give me extra corner bumpers to cushion any impact. Taped the hell out of this and draw a little picture.
Save cardboard from shipments of things like paper, they tend to be pretty heavy duty.
An air tight, well structured, and durable package is the most solid one.
This is a print I did via serigraphy/screenprint that involved a a photo stencil of a drawing and many experiments with stray screens and masking tape to create the ambient background of greys. This was a fun and meditative process that I came up with. I feel it goes well with the concept of meditative processes and would make a good wall piece for someone's house or a coffeeshop of some kind.
14x18 screenprint on paper (dimensions include matted area). Steel Dragon is a limited edition of 56 screenprints, each of them unique. Starting off as a detailed pen-and-ink drawing of PDX's Steel Bridge, I created four screens with different elements of the image. using a combination of rough techniques and refined techniques I was able to capture many different qualities and moods with each print. some are in bright, vibrant colors, while others are more subdued.
