Over 200 kids in Salvation Army youth programs across Indiana gathered in Indianapolis for a day of "May Science" fun at the annual Youth Rally on March 14, 2015.
The Custard Chucker lifting off on 6X K1440WT and 6X I540WT. At 1400ft or so the on-board timers fired two 25g flash-powder charges inside the payload section detonating it and creating a 100ft yellow halo of custard in the sky, which was unbelievably spectacular. The booster section returned via 18ft cargo parachute.

This was the first in Kristin Prather's series of Science and Math Workshops. They are for Intermediate School students to learn basic math and science concepts through FUN activities and demonstrations. They will get to make rockets, search the stars, and test mind-boggling physics theories. Let's not forget playing math games!

All workshops are in the Activity Room in the Friendswood Public Library.
