I have come to like the yearly Self-Portrait Challenge every year because it means I have a way to see how I have changed in the last 10 years.

I am working on Ricky's Locomotion quilt for the class that is going on right now. I am behind because my Sciatica is acting up again! I got a little down today and hope to at least have the whole top down for the showcase. Of course, I still haven't put the borders on my Kaleidoscope top that I started a few years ago! Oh Well.

I used my shutter release to take a series of photos of me behind my sewing table with some of my Kaffe Fasset fabrics being auditioned for my Locomotion. I used LR to make the image B&W. I used a PhotographyBB template called Activism to process the image. It is a take on the posters that were down when Barack Obama was running for president. The poster was designed by American artist Shepard Fairey

The quotes on the bottom of the image are from the t-shirt I was wearing. I forget where I got the t-shirt. The whole message on the shirt is:

Luckily, I previously noticed these three juvenile squirrels learning their ways up and down the tree over by Lorch Hall. It was great to see all three together.
