No, Till Eulenspiegel did not collect these shoes ;-) They were simply thrown out of our kitchen door and stacked on our terrace. Till Eulenspiegel is a well known joker from our region. He lived as a roaming rogue in the 14th century. Once Till made a joke with shoes: he collected 200 left shoes from the inhabitants of a village, threaded them together on a long band and climbed up on a tight rope. When he had covered half the distance high in the air, he dropped the shoes, one after the other, from that breezy height to the ground. There was sheer excitement! "Where is my shoe?" And there was a big brawl ...

Nein, diese Schuhe hat Till Eulenspiegel nicht gesammelt ;-) Sie wurden einfach aus unserer Küchentür geschmissen und auf unserer Terrasse gestapelt. Till Eulenspiegel ist ein sehr bekannter Spaßmacher aus unserer Region. Er lebte als umherstreifender Schalk im 14. Jahrhundert. Einmal machte Till einen Scherz mit Schuhen: Er sammelte 200 linke Schuhe von den Bewohnern eines Dorfes auf, fädelte sie an einem langen Band zusammen und kletterte auf ein gespanntes Seil hinauf. Als er die Hälfte seiner Wegstrecke hoch oben in der Luft zurückgelegt hatte, ließ er die Schuhe, einen nach dem anderen, aus dieser luftigen Höhe zu Boden fallen. Dort herrschte schiere Aufregung! „Wo ist mein Schuh?“ Und es entstand eine große Rauferei ...

bei einem kurzen Städtetripp in Oslo mit Karin (Stine55) wurden gerade diese Schuhe vor der Oper aufgebaut, Werbung für einen Verkauf

"Contemplative Thinking" wurde 2018 als Sonderprojekt für das Kunstmuseum Yinchuan ins Leben gerufen. Die Künstlerin sammelte Hunderte von getragenen Schuhen aus der Region, die jeweils an einem langen Stoffbein befestigt sind
und eine dynamische Menschenmenge in unterschiedlichen Körperhaltungen bildeten. Die einzelnen, persönlichen Geschichten, die jeder Schuh erzählt, verbinden sich zu einer kollektiven Landschaft und spiegeln die Spannung zwischen
individueller Einsamkeit und Gruppenverhalten wider.
