...so wurde dieser Raum vom mich durchs Haus begleitenden Audioguide genannt - ein dreieckiges Zimmerchen, welches den Essbereich mit der Küche verbindet.
Wie unschwer zu erkennen ist, wird hier jeder noch so kleine Platz nutzbringend verwendet... ;-)

... for control? Is that "me"? This young woman might ask herself that for a moment ... What a little paint sometimes makes the way you appear. And yet you always stay the same person ;-) It's always fun to reach deep into the paint pot, play with the colours, try something out ... right?

... zur Kontrolle? Bin das "Ich"? Das fragt sich diese junge Frau vielleicht für einen Augenblick ... Was ein bisschen Farbe manchmal so ausmacht, wie man erscheint. Und doch bleibt man immer derselbe Mensch ;-) Spaß macht es allemal, tief in den Farbtopf zu greifen, mit den Farben zu spielen, etwas auszuprobieren ... oder?

Actors getting ready for a show during the Vegetarian Festival, performed at a Chinese Temple in Talat Noi, a historic community in Chinatown.
I did go and shoot here again last week and got some great portraits (to follow shortly), but for a wider overview of the make-up tables in a good moment this scene here from 2020 remains my best.

Aber ein sehr gutes Auge für weibliche Schönheit muss man dem alten Echnaton schon zugestehen - auch wenn er es beim Knabbern an seiner geliebten Nofretete etwas übertrieben haben mag.
Meine hat übrigens (im Gegensatz zum Original) zwei Augen.
Another one from backstage and the last one for now at least. This one here from 2020, also from the same stage built for the duration of the Vegetarian Festival at a temple in Talat Noi, a historic community in Chinatown.
Both actors in full costume waiting right next to the stage just out of sight from the audience, awaiting the cue to step onstage for their part in the performance.

This series of whimsical works reimagines the world on a miniature scale, capturing the charm of tiny sculptures and thought-provoking conceptual installations.
The name 'Diptown' playfully nods to their obsession with crafting intricate, pocket-sized towns—tiny worlds teeming with life, emotion, and a touch of the surreal.
Tribute to Shorty Harris by Belgian artist Fred Bervoets is in the background.
