Here's a photo of the iconic lighthouse bathing in the early sunlight, I got there by 5:30am and had the lighthouse all to myself and one other photog. Walking around and finding this small puddle, I was super happy with even just a partial lighthouse reflection.
Many thanks to your visit, favs and comments; wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

The weather was rainy, foggy and cold in the Aude yesterday.
It took getting used to the gripping temperature contrast in a few days!
No more light dresses and sandals! Hello boots and warm jackets!

A photo I captured on a moody day up in Northern Norway this summer! One of my favourite areas to shoot
The Elizabethtown Industrial Railroad is a 1.5 mile spur branching off the Amtrak main at Conewago, operated using a chop-nose GP9u in CTR colors. There is only so much scenery you can find on a short, straight, and flat stretch of track, so despite staying not far from the area, I've put the railroad on a backburner while waiting for a day with favorable weather conditions. Last weekend's very-late winter snowstorm finally made that happen with temps just below freezing making for a sticky snow-caused winter wonderland. Some of the low-hanging trees fall victim to CTR 1650 as it pulls a tank car of byproduct environmental waste to the NS interchange. The load originated from Crystal Clean, the railroad's only customer seeing service about twice a month.

Lake Eola is a small lake within the South Eola neighborhood of Downtown Orlando, Florida. Lake Eola Park is located in the heart of Downtown Orlando, with a sidewalk that circles the lake .9 miles in length, making it easy for visitors to keep track of their walking or running distances. You can:
Renting swan-shaped paddle boats.
Photographing the live swans and other birds inhabiting the park.
Seeing a concert, movie or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater.
Grabbing a bite to eat at local restaurants.
Relaxing amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando’s skyline.
2019 was a pretty good year for railfanning, so I'm going to go back through and revisit some of the better moments from the year that I haven't posted yet.
We'll stick with the Lehigh Valley theme with this view of Yellowjacket C420 414. The ground is bare at Jessup, Pennsylvania as local SC-7 returns to Scranton with empty frac sand hoppers from the Linde facility on the north side of Carbondale. While the former Lackawanna mainline through the Poconos and the six-axle Bigs is what most people want to see when they visit the Delaware-Lackawanna, the former Delaware & Hudson Carbondale Main offers a variety of scenery and props and vintage ALCo locomotives of course.
