House on Highway 161, Aroostook County in northern Maine
Truly nothing was scary about this house. I passed it frequently driving on Highway 161 in Aroostook County, Maine. When I posted this image a friend exclaimed that it looked scary; thus the "scary house" was born.
It's definitely time to start those scary movie marathons.
Next two photos coming up, it was suggested they looked like possible stills from whatever movie this gang is watching. Stay tuned over the next few days to check 'em out, as well as my last few others for this month of daily photos. We're in the home stretch!
Calle Jaen is also known for has stories that will chill your bones. This street encloses scary stories about ghosts, elfs and a dead widower, who are claimed to have be seen by drunk people who wander there at night.
I found a chestnut in the garden.
Macromondays - Halloween
52 in 2020 Challenge - #12 Something weird.
For some reason, it seems to me that those looking at the photo and reading its title (Scary beast) see a cheerful picture - after all, the chestnut, even bristling with thorns, is not at all scary.
In fact, when I looked at this chestnut through the viewfinder of the camera, it seemed to me that the eye of some gloomy monster, whose huge head did not fit into the frame, was looking at me with slightly opened eyelids.
