This model depicts a C-130H (hull number 16) that belongs to Skadron 32, based in Malang City, East Java Province.

This aircraft (tail code A-1316) is stationed at Abdul Rachman Saleh Air Base in Malang City, East Java Province, Indonesia. It is the only short body C-130H that the Indonesian AF has which sports the classic white-and-grey sceme.

I used an assortment of paints to replicate the C-130H's classic white-and-grey scheme. They include Tamiya and Humbrol enamels, as well as Gunze lacquers. I used Model Master Insignia Yellow to replicate the yellow ID bands. To finish it off, I sprayed a generous amount of Testors DullCote.

The front nose wheel. I scratch built the wheel struts but unfortunately none can be seen. The stencils that I made include the red letters near the nose wheel. The red strips however, were airbrushed.

Adding final touches to the model such as the antennas and wires. I strengthen all protruding objects with copper wire.

I made the antenna wires using stretch sprue. I needed two-30cm of stretch sprues which wasn't easy to make. I used Academy sprue since i knew that Tamiya and Academy are pretty good. I colored it using Tamiya Enamel Flat Black.
