I have made a promise to my husband that when all my current projects/scalps are used , I will stop customising (it takes up so much of my time) - I don't think he has any idea how many scalps I actually have though so I figure I will be ok for a good year or so!!
Back on the road after a tidy up with new bumper, twin 6" stacks, more lights & alloys on the steer plus a custom interior
I love my Mono Comme Ca. She was my birthday gift from my fiancé years ago now, and I had to wait three whole months to de-box her.
It's her haircut and that awesome icy blue eye-shadow that makes me weak at the knees...must be why I love Hollywood's so much also :)
And to complete the set of the various types of Metrobus, here is MB2 at the Crookston Castle terminus of service 94. This was a truncated stump of the old service 94 to Kilmacolm, established after the railway to that town closed in the early 80s. By the time I was there, it was a few morning and afternoon peak-only journeys from here to the city centre, via Mosspark and the M77, which only went as far as Dumbreck in those days. It often was allocated one of the small coach fleet that was allocated to Possil, but could turn out anything, on this occasion MB2.
These were hoary old tubs by the time I drove them, smelling terribly fusty, leaky, and on several of them, the passenger seat padding had disintegrated to nothing.
They featured a non-standard interior of mustard-coloured laminates, and the same moquette as the 1979 Glasgow Underground cars, and orangey tartan.
At least one of them had 'WM' (ie West Midland' logos on their brake pedal rubbers, a curious feature...
