Après 3 ans d'absence et son dernier match en NBA, Thabo, l'enfant de La Riviera, revient dans son club de coeur.
Shiel, Acharacle Volvo B11R/Jonckheere K800 SBL passes West Coast Motors Volvo B9R/Plaxton Elite S900 WCM at the Kersland Street stop on Great Western Road, both on their 5pm Citylink departures from Glasgow heading to Fort William and Ardrishaig.

I got this girl at an insanely reasonable price. She needs a little TLC but she's just beautiful!
Now she just needs a name!
Recent effort from the drawing board , and a commission from the owner of the real , recently restored , gem that is former Strathclyde PTE/Strathclyde's Buses Ailsa A109 (A735PSU).
Real credit must be given to the owner(s) for the work put into prepairing the bus for a superbly applied coat of Strathclyde Red (or orange as it is to everyone who isnt colour blind!)
Depicted here in service on Larkfield Depot route 38 , which , over the year's has seen numerous variations.
My beautiful l'il heart. Her eyechips are the best of the plain stock by a long way. As well as this lovely toffee, she has stock pink, pale aqua-blue and pale blue-grass green.
She has a twin here, so this gorgeous girl is heading to the bay. But I couldn't resist taking some reference shots. (Update: she left home now). :)

I have made a promise to my husband that when all my current projects/scalps are used , I will stop customising (it takes up so much of my time) - I don't think he has any idea how many scalps I actually have though so I figure I will be ok for a good year or so!!
I love my Mono Comme Ca. She was my birthday gift from my fiancé years ago now, and I had to wait three whole months to de-box her.
It's her haircut and that awesome icy blue eye-shadow that makes me weak at the knees...must be why I love Hollywood's so much also :)

5 Scania Omnicity single decks have returned to Southampton from Poole now, which primarily operate the 7 (Sholing to Lordshill) and 16 (city to Townhill Park). These were new to Unilink operations many moons ago and is further evidence of how city services have been improved by more modern ex-Unilink stock.
Strathclyde Buses C14 was one of a pair of early Metroliners, and were part of then Strathclyde PTE's early pioneering work in offering wheelchair accessible vehicles to those with disabilities, with all manner of vehicles delivered or converted to accessible configurations. The unusual two leaf entrance door can be seen, which behind which a wheelchair lift could be deployed. The entire nearside of the seating was on runners and could be removed to fix down wheelchairs.
It is seen here in Lockerbie in May 1993, on the way back to Glasgow from one of the Metro centre rallies, with a group of SBL drivers and their chums on board. I drove it part of the way south, and recall it being a lovely coach to drive, smooth, quiet and fast on the flat, however the kickdown wasn't working therefore it was poor on hills.
By this time it was a solitary vehicle, its sister C13 having been destroyed in the Larkfield depot fire of 1992.
