Much like older Volvos, there is still a fair amount of 99s left in London, but this is, so far, the only Turbo model I have come across. Looked fantastic! Perhaps some of the best alloy wheels of the era, and the spotlights and headlight wipers are excellent little touches. This is actually one of the first Turbo models, as they were launched in '78 and only as a Combi coupe to begin with.
I only took this rear end shot to get a glimpse of what I always found were the weirdest rear lights, I assume the addition of the universal rear lights was something to do with legislation over here, as the standard rear lights were rather small. Easily one of the best, and most easily recognised car designs of the 20th century too, the basic silhouette was around so many years.
