I love frogs. I saw lots of tree frogs yesterday while walking Jasmine at the lake. They are small...about the size of a quarter. Most sunbathe with their back to you. I was happy to find one looking at me. Scroll down to see more including a spider cluster.

Leptodactylus wagneri es una especie terrestre y nocturna con un amplio nicho que ha sido registrada en una gran variedad de hábitats por toda la Amazonía. Vive bajo rocas y troncos a lo largo de riachuelos. El complejo de especies de Leptodactylus es característico por su comportamiento reproductivo; los huevos son depositados en nidos por lo general hechos de espuma. Esta especie fue encontrada específicamente en la Cordillera del Cóndor en un lugar con bastante intervención humana. Una especie que no tiene amenazas serias debido a su amplio rango geográfico y a la gran variedad de hábitats que ocupa.

Leptodactylus wagneri is a terrestrial and nocturnal species with a wide niche that has been registered in several types of habitats throughout the Amazon. It lives under rocks and logs along streams. The Leptodactylus species complex is characteristic for its reproductive behavior; eggs are laid in nests usually made of foam. This species was found specifically in the Cordillera del Cóndor in a place with enough human intervention. A species that has no serious threats due to its wide geographical range and the variety of habitats that it occupies.
