LINGUAGGIO DEI FIORI: è considerata la pianta della profezia e della fedeltà.
ANEDDOTI E CREDENZE: la prima attribuzione la si deve al fatto che, secondo la tradizione, se si esprime un desiderio e con un sol soffio si fanno volare tutti i semi del pollone, il desiderio si avvererà. La seconda potrebbe derivare dalla caparbietà di questa pianta, che cresce ovunque, anche dove non è desiderata, e che sopravvive e si riproduce facilmente e velocemente.

On Saturday 7 November at 2.10 pm Paris time my beloved Partner Nitro Fireguard passed away.
Although I knew this was inevitable, it still was a shock. After all nobody wants to loose a loved one. The only redeeming thought is Nitro doesn't have to suffer these horrible pains anymore.
SUNDAY 15 NOVEMBER
The event I am organizing on Sunday, 15 November in our gallery is to honor Nitro (Claude) and celebrate life with music and a toast on my beloved partner and tell him he will always be in our hearts.

Nitro and I, we had 4 wonderful years together in Second Life.
It all started when we met at the installation 'The Path' on 17 October 2011.
We flirted, fooled around, got partnered on Valentines day 2012 and started a gallery.
We both worked very hard in/for the gallery, which we enjoyed a lot.
How bizarre that eggszackily 4 years later Nitro made his own 3D mesh sculpture installation 'The Paths of Life', which opened on 17 October.
I am truly happy he could be present at this opening party, enjoying the good spirit and the many artist friends attending that evening. It was his goodbye to SL.
Nitro loved art, he was a very creative person, always had been in RL and SL. Over the years his 3D mesh sculptures were getting better and better, and he gained name as a sculptor.
Most of his sculptures and installations (like the Maze) were shown at Nitroglobus. He exhibited his works alone or with others (who doesn't remember the exhibition 'Hidden Faces' he did together with Mistero Hifeng in January 2013).
Last but not least there were of course his sculptures in the main hall of Nitroglobus where he always 'fitted' the gallery to the theme of the exhibitions by guest artists. That's what made Nitroglobus gallery unique.
Unreal to realize this will never happen again. SL is empty without him.
Gros bisous mon cheri, may you rest in peace.

Okay everyone, apparently Mike Jones has moved his photo with the most faves to the top of his photo stream begging for more faves so he can catch up to this one. Yes, it's sad really, but since Mike is a professional photographer and I'm just a dude with a camera that primarily does it for fun, it really burns him up. What makes the earth abide is that it knows that there will always be another day where the sun will rise again..
Unfortunately, thats not the case in our relationship since there might not be another day for us..

dalla seconda metà del 1700. Tuttavia, questa splendida pianta raggiunse grande popolarità soltanto un secolo dopo, in seguito al successo del romanzo di Dumas, "La signora delle camelie". Da allora, infatti, il fiore della camelia iniziò ad essere usato come ornamento di scollature ed orli degli
abiti delle signore; Madame Chanel ha insegnato a portarla sui suoi tailler. Negli anni '30 del 1900, la camelia era una pianta fondamentale e sempre presente nella maggior parte dei giardini tardo-romantici di tutta l'Europa. Dalle foglie di alcune varietà si ricava il tè. In Italia è coltivata soprattutto sulle sponde del lago Maggiore.
