This scene caught my eye on a walk round the Calke Abbey grounds. The centrepiece is the dead tree. The autumn colours surrounding it were stunning. Taken with new lens on old camera.
This is over the top of Goyt Valley, probably just still in Derbyshire. The view is towards Cheshire. I loved the grasses and the view beyond. HFF

This is the reverse side of a poinsettia leaf. The poinsettia is bravely hanging on, losing a leaf or two a day. I've enhanced the colours slightly but close up the leaf really does have vibrant colours.
Clo est bien fière de ses clématites encore cette année...Un plaisir à admirer...

I saw this when walking the dog. The dog found photography very boring and fidgeted. That makes focussing more difficult than usual. I love the autumn colours here and the line of the fence.
Spotted this fence just off the northbound M5 at the Gloucester Service Station, UK. I liked the colour of the fence against the daisies and the wall. Well done the person who planned it, nice one. HFF!

These flowers were in a vase on the sideboard. The light was pouring through the window onto them. I chose a macro focus to show one flower with an especially nice colour glowing in the sunshine.
One from a walk in Cromer, from the beach to the cliff top. There are some lovely gardens. I loved the colour of the fuchsia against red brick wall.
A photograph taken on our journey back from Cornwall in 2016. This is on Dartmoor, but on the gentle edges of it. The Satnav (designed for Motorhomes) didn’t encourage us to explore the moor very much.
I bought a little macro lens that fits over the iPhone. It's proving as difficult to control as the iPhone camera itself, with the results variable. However, I love this yellow / green leaf...

These were little saplings protected by rigid plastic sleeves in 2015. They were planted as part of a new hedge on a stretch of the North Norfolk coast road between Sheringham and Cley. I've cropped the photo to show off the saplings. I will go back and check on their progress.
Taken with an iPhone and into the sun. The colours on the marshes were beautiful today. Green and brown merging. There were lots of birds really close to us. We saw two hares as well!

This is at Hopton Hall, Derbyshire, UK. I went to see snowdrops, acres of them, for which Hopton is well known. On route through the snowdrops, I saw this trunk, still trying to grow up to be a tree.
