Letterpress printed save the date for the Pomeroy suite. This was a very fun and challenging project, as each element required tight registration and, on several pieces, floods of color. Travel is the overarching theme of the suite, with the save the date in the form of an oldshcool boarding pass, color palette evocative of both 60's era travel and the island, oceanic destination. At the same time, the typographic treatments are crisp and modern, making this piece feel contemporary with a retro flair. *Design by Lincoln Young of Swell Creative.

Incorporates a custom diecut and a subtle pinhole perforation along the bottom edge. Color palette is sunny and grounded, reflecting the amazing colors around Aspen in the fall. Oh, the "ASE" is the three-letter airport code for Aspen's airport.

Three dimensional letterpress printed save the date for Jessica & Chris. As their wedding date will be on 10/10/10, I thought it'd be fun to create a save the date memento that recipients could interact with. Plus, it allowed me to dive deep into geek punnery with the whole "ten cubed" idea. These were printed 2/0 then diecut and then sewn, then affixed to a backing card to slide into an oversized envelope. Assembly was simplified by applying a strip of doublestick tape to the tuck-in, and the top and bottom, once folded, actually tuck into the box itself. I'll show a few different views of the assembled cube.

Production shot of a letterpress postcard, pre-diecutting. Simple line-drawing of the British Virgin Islands, letterpress printed on one side of what will be a round-cornered postcard. Details will be hand-drawn and written by the client.
Per the client's request, the impression on these cards treads that careful balance where there is a slight impression on the printing side, with no show-through on the back, just a faint "shadow" of the linework. While not a "kiss" impression, it is light enough to allow mailing information to be filled-in on the back side without hindrance from a deep impression.nt.
