Green iguanas, head-torso length up to 60 cm, with the tail up to 2 m.. They are rather grayish-green, feed exclusively on plants, almost exclusively on leaves, are diurnal, mainly tree dwellers, can also swim well.

Green iguanas are particularly endangered by the increasing destruction of the rainforest in South America.

Grüne Leguane, Kopfrumpflänge bis 60 cm, mit dem Schwanz bis 2 m.. Sie sind eher gräulich-grün, ernähren sich ausschließlich von Pflanzen, fast nur von Blättern, sind tagaktiv, vorwiegend Baumbewohner, können auch gut schwimmen.

Besonders gefährdet sind Grüne Leguane durch die zunehmende Zerstörung des Regenwaldes in Südamerika.

The Santa Marta Lighthouse is situated to the south of the centre of Cascais, Lisbon District, Portugal, on the estuary of the River Tagus, providing a light for the Cascais Bay and for the town's new marina. It is a quadrangular masonry tower covered with white tiles, with blue horizontal stripes and a red lantern. The lighthouse was built on the grounds of the Santa Marta Fort, which now houses a lighthouse museum.
