On the left, embossing and pricking on heavy watercolour paper - I think Bockingford NOT (cold pressed). On the right, embossing and pricking on khadi paper which is also really good for hand and machine stitching. The background is a printed Diptic on watercolour paper. I love Diptic as a design tool!
First sample pictures taken with the new Canon Zoom Lens 70-200mm 1:2.8 L IS II USM, and Extender EF 2x II. They were taken at approx 1 meter away, and they were at 400mm zoom. By far the best lens I ever owned. The focus is crystal clear, and extremely fast.
We spent a rainy Saturday morning with some genuine southern hospitality at Cotton Patch Cafe ! We sampled new and classic items and sipped on brunch strong bloody marys and mimosas! Grapevine treated us well with goodie bags and we can't wait to return! Photography by Allie Norado Photography

This sample could be an example of a detail, action, or portrait depending on whose point of view the story is being told from. I haven't decided whose point of view to use yet, but the way the photographer framed this photo made me realize that the point of view doesn't have to me from the vet or another person, but could be from the animal. I also think the photographer did a great job with the rule of 3rds in this photo. Also the contrast in the color of the kitten compared to everything else makes this a stronger image. If the kitten was white I don't think you would get the same effect.
