Paper negative with petzval lens.

brought to our Connections retreat at Sybil's this month...I could not resist photographing them because of the interesting secondary pattern the four tiny pieces made.

I took this class several years ago, when it was taught by Eileen in London, Ontario ...and I made a similar sample piece.

Eileen lives in British Columbia.

These are samples for a wedding order. The bride has requested vanilla cupcakes filled with vanilla bean cream, topped with chocolate mint frosting and chocolate cupcakes filled with fresh raspberries, topped with nutella hazelnut cream frosting.

During our trip to the Biltmore Estate, we just had to visit Antler Hill Village when we learned there was so much to see and do!

And how could we not check out an opportunity to do a little wine tasting at the wine bar? With so many choices, it was hard to pick only a few.

Where there's tons of food to choose from, I guess sometimes you just need to sit and sample the goods, like this little chipmunk is doing, before you start carting it all off.

After all, you have to make sure to take the good stuff and leave the weird stuff like those ginormous walnuts for those pesky squirrels.

All monochrome images are displayed in colour as well. Have a look and thanks for your support.

This was taken with my new camera, the Sony Nex 6 and the kit zoom lens; 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS

I wanted a lighter weight 2nd camera, as carrying a full-frame with a huge pro-lens can really take its toll on my already damaged spine!

I don't think it will ever replace my full-frame for landscape work etc, however it is a dream to walk around with and once I get a decent lens for it (and judging by the above image), I think I may get some good results.

If anyone has advice regarding a good lens for it please let me know.

I am considering the Carl Zeiss 24mm 1.8 or the Sony 10-18mm f/4 but leaning towards the CZ.

The Blue has been a nice one in the past. I really enjoyed the Reserve on this evening...

A second sample board by our Father, Kevin. They certainly do not represent Kevin's best work, but are interesting nonetheless.

Taken during the Fall 2016 semester at Emerson College.

Samples of different stitch resist shibori patterns - some original. 12.5 inch square, PFD cotton, dyed with Procion dyes

This fits perfectly with the current 16s interval.

All the best on your Epic Hero's Journey from Johnny Ranger McCoy!

Modeling the black & gold "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:

herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!

Best on your hero's journey from Johnny Ranger McCoy! :)

Falling in love with the full frame 36 megapixel e mount Sony A7R!

Sampling crew leaving the contamination zone at the Gorst Creek restoration site in Port Orchard, WA. Photographed with a Nikon N60 SLR camera using Kodak Max Versatility film that expired 04/2007. The lab pushed it one stop.

I may have bought some things ^^; Not all of these are for me, a couple of these are for a friend of mine.

Today, I had the opportunity to take Seaford & District Volvo B10L Saffle L456 JCK - possibly the first low floor bus in the UK ? - out for a spin and very nice it was too.

A very small sample of the boys very large hat collection.

My plan was to have the boys face the "rack". And I did. And they did beautifully (see stream). But I'm not stupid (usually) and so I took a Plan B shot of them (see above) - just in case.

In Toby's case, I liked the Plan B more than the Plan A, but he didn't want ya'll to think he failed the exercise. So you get both shots.
