混亂的氣候...干擾了花朵綻放的時節...

今年的櫻花沒有去年來的美麗....

Yes, its a pretty street. The problem is, the same problem all images in Japan seem to have. People. So, very many people. Also, very similar to other nighttime sakura events, the crowd control kinda of ruins the image. Not trying to besmirch the event or crowd control, you have to do what you have to do. I get it. But at the same time, orange traffic cones and other control devices just look bad.

Here at Sakura Street near Shibuya, everyone seems to want to shoot from the bottom of the street. I get why, there is a little turn in the road down there that makes it very photogenic. And you are shooting uphill, which looks cool. But if you walk up the hill a little ways, where its not nearly as popular, the people thin out and the traffic cones are not there. Seems crowd control is not an issue where there are less crowds. So with a little patience, you can get an image from the top side with very few people. I also liked how the bush acted as a foreground element to help pull your eye in to the frame, and the leading line there of the street stripe.

I guess the lesson is, try to get away from the crowds. Rewards await.

関東、関西の主だった公園、植物園は殆ど行っているが、とりわけ私がお気に入りの場所は、何をさておき京都府立植物園(24万ha)なのである。ここは敷地面積こそ新宿御苑、神代植物公園、万博記念自然文化園等には及ばないが、顧客満足度が極めて高い植物園と思う。

大きな満開のサクラの木の下で柔らかな草の上でゆったりと昼寝が出来る。高齢者の方には道府県を選ばずして無料で入園できるよう配慮されている。サクラや紅葉の名所でもあり季節にはライトアップもなされる。珍しい植物も多い。勿論大温室もあり四季折々の花がとても綺麗に管理されているのである。尤も私は京都府立植物園の関係者ではありませんが。。

画像は、昼寝の最中に覆い被さるサクラを撮ったものです。
