Macro Mondays, theme: Sun Safety. Looking into the metal spine of a parasol.

A vintage Nikkor 50 mm - f/1.4 lens was reverse-mounted on the camera using a reversal ring. The aperture was set to f/1.4.

This is a wee safety catch on an antique bracelet. And I just broke my new rule: do not ask my husband for his opinion. Too shallow, said he.
But when I donned my masculine side with that hat photo last week, I didn't please a few. Ah well, this is fewer than 2 inches/5cm. Might try a different aperture...or not.

NS 955 slowly crosses the Toccoa viaduct for a impromptu company photoshoot on its way from Greenville to Atlanta. It was well worth the hour of hacking down trees and death hike back up to finally shoot something good here.
An ultra macro of the hinge of my safety glasses. Almost touching the hinge and lens focused manually.
A possible entry for my fav group: Macro Mondays. About 2 cm / 0.79 inches across.

The Lady Beetle is a hand-me-down from my old boss when she left; it used to adorn her computer screen😂🐞💕
After using a retractable pen a button can be pressed to move the ballpoint tip back into the body of the pen. This protects the tip from damage and us from accidental stabbing or ink smudging. For Macro Mondays group.

Taken yesterday as we were about to return home from our 3 days at the seaside most local to us - after a full english breakfast at the beach cafe off course. I had hoped to catch up a little last night but events caught up with us so I couldn't - and today more stuff happening plus we fetch Leo from school too today. Comments are still turned off till I can peruse your wonderful inspirational photography. I checked my settings and comments are definitely set to off but thank you to those people who accidently circumvented it for your kindness in leaving those lovely comments....the weather was kind and the break was all the nicer for that but off course the news was and still is bad but words of optimism were spoken today so I hope things continue in that vein...Sue x
For personal reasons re a friend of mine ( not a Flickr member ) I shall be off Flickr a while, hopefully not too long if things go well with my friend who is awaiting a life saving operation in the very near future…Sue x
